Annual 40-Day Fast


Understand that you are on this fast to cleanse and strengthen your physical body and to release an everlasting blessing into your experience materially and spiritually.


Fast Details:

  1. Consult your doctor before starting the fast.
  2. Be aware of any food/beverage allergy.
  3. Do not consume food/beverage you may be allergic to.
  4. No meat, poultry, fish, seafood, or wild game to be consumed during the fast.
  5. Foods may be prepared and/or eaten cooked or raw with moderate seasoning.
  6. During the 40-Day Fast permitted food/beverage may be consumed on Fridays.
  7. Children under 12 years of age, persons 65 years of age or older, pregnant or nursing mothers, are excluded from the fast.
  8. While on the fast you should abstain from carbonated beverages, alcoholic beverages, smoking, junk foods, and excess sodium (salt) or refined sugar.
  9. You should drink plenty of water daily. You may add citrus to your water ( lemon, lime, orange) for flavor.
  10. Daily menu may be modified within the suggested food item list.


Sunday

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Lettuce, Tomatoes, Dates, Carrots, Wheat Bread, Apples, Potato, and Water.


Monday

6-7 AM Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Water or Fruit Juice

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Berries, Bananas, Raisins, Lettuce, Tomato, Plain Pasta, and Water.


Tuesday

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water.

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Oranges, Raisins, Lettuce, Tomato, Celery, Sweet Potato, and Water.


Wednesday

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water.

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Cabbage, Carrots, Wheat Bread, Potato, Apples, and Water.


Thursday

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water.

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Apples, Grapes, Lettuce, Celery, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Plain Pasta, and Water.


Friday

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water.

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Melon, Peaches, Rice, Lettuce, Raisins, Tomato, and Water.


Saturday

6-7 AM Morning Prayer: Psalm 121

Water and Tea or Fruit Juice.

12 Noon: 3 Minute Silent Meditation

Fruit Juice and/or Water.

6-7 PM Evening Prayer: Psalm 23

Bananas, Apples, Grated Raw Carrots, Corn, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Cooked Greens, Rye Bread, and Water.
